    June 10 – Montreal, QC | D

    Your adventure to Atlantic Canada begins in Owen Sound with limited pickup points along the main corridor TBA. Overnight is at the Holiday Inn in Longueil, a suburb of Montreal. Dinner included.

    June 11 – Bathurst, NB | B

    Continue through the scenic Eastern Townships of Quebec, passing Quebec City enroute to Bathurst, NB. Stop for lunch in Riviere-du-Loup. After lunch travel south crossing the border into New Brunswick. Our watches go ahead one hour. After our break in Saint Leonard, we will continue east, cross country, towards our dinner spot tonight in Beresford, NB. Overnight at the Quality Inn & Suites in nearby Bathurst, NB.

    June 12 – Charlottetown, PEI | B

    A photo stop in Shediac before continuing to Amherst for lunch followed by a visit to Deanne Fitzpatrick’s Rug Hooking Studio and Maritime Mosaic. After time to shop, we continue across the Confederation Bridge to PEI making a stop at Gateway Village before arriving at the Quality Inn & Suites in Cornwall, PEI for a two-night stay.     June 13 – Charlottetown, PEI | B/L/D

    A  morning visit to Periwinkle Laine which provides high quality goods and services for the rug hooking craft and fibre arts industry. After lunch we set out on an Island tour accompanied by a local guide. We’ll visit Anne of Green Gables Home, stop at the PEI Preserve Company and more. Before returning to Charlottetown, a lobster dinner is an absolute must! Alternate choice is available.

    June 14 – Port Hawkesbury, NS | B

    Travel to Wood Islands to board the ferry to Nova Scotia stopping along the way at Pastimes, PEI, a small traditional rug hooking and wool shop. Lunch is available on board the ferry. We continue to Port Hawkesbury on Cape Breton Island for a two-night stay at the Maritime Inn.

    June 15 – Port Hawkesbury, NS | B

    Today we explore the spectacular Cabot Trail, entering at Whycocomah and travelling clockwise through the park. Our first stop will be in Cheticamp, a community well known for its Acadian culture and deep- rooted traditions which includes the art of Rug Hooking. Enjoy a stop at Flora’s Gift Shop followed by a visit to the Hooked Rug and Home Life Museum which features some of the finest works by local craftspeople. Here we enjoy a guided tour and demonstration of tools and techniques used in the creation of the world-renowned Cheticamp hooked rugs. Enjoy the dramatic scenery as we continue the journey around the Trail returning to Port Hawkesbury for the night.

    June 16 – Halifax, NS | B

    This morning travel to the seaport city of Halifax. After lunch, we are joined by a local guide to see the highlights of this vibrant yet historic city. There’s free time to explore the waterfront before checking into the Holiday Inn Express for a three-night stay.

    June 17 – Halifax, NS | B

    A morning visit to the Hooked Rug Museum of North America, a facility that collects, exhibits, and preserves the heritage of hand-hooked rugs and artifacts. In the Fibre Art Market, you will find over 600 hand hooked rugs made with many different fibres and styles of hooking including the famous Cheticamp rugs! Before returning to Halifax, visit the tiny fishing village of Peggy’s Cove. Built in 1915, Peggy’s Point Lighthouse keeps watch over surging ocean waves and working lobster boats. Enjoy exploring!

    June 18 – Halifax, NS | B

    The morning finds us in Mahone Bay where the streets are lined with a unique collection of shops, studios and galleries. You will want to visit “Encompassing Designs Rug Hooking Studio”. Later, a visit to the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic in Lunenburg.

    June 19 – Edmundston, NB | B

    Our journey continues as we travel from Nova Scotia back into New Brunswick, through the capital city of Fredericton, following the course of the St. John River. A photo stop will be made at the Longest Covered Bridge in the World before continuing to Edmundston for the night. Check in at the Travelodge Edmundston.

    June 20 – Cornwall, On. | B/D

    Follow the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, past the metropolitan city of Montreal on our way to Cornwall for our final night at the Best Western Hotel. Dinner is included this evening.

    June 21 – Home | B

    A relaxing drive allows for time to reminisce about your Atlantic Canada vacation and perhaps trade rug hooking secrets with friends! Return to Owen Sound will be early evening.

    Executive Cultural Tours and/or their agents, affiliates, or subsidiaries act only as agents for the hotel, airlines, bus companies and operators providing accommodation, transportation, meals, tours or other services and all coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts and tickets issued by the Company are issued subject to all tariffs, terms and conditions under which the forgoing or any other services whatsoever are provided by such hotels, airlines, bus companies. By the acceptance of such coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts and tickets, the tour member agrees that the Company shall not become liable or responsible for any loss, injury or damage to the person, firm or corporation. Further, the Company shall not become liable or responsible for any loss, injury or damage due to an Act of God or Act of War. The tour operator reserves the right to withdraw a tour, to refuse to accept or retain any person as a member of the tour at any time or to make changes in the itinerary whenever in their sole judgment conditions warrant or if such changes result from circumstances beyond the control of the tour operator. Executive Cultural Tours and/or their agents shall not be responsible for the injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle or other, or through the acts or default of any company or person engaged in conveying or providing transportation to the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour or otherwise in connection therewith, or of any other hotel proprietor or employee. The aforesaid and their agents can accept no responsibility for losses or accidental expenses due to delay or changes in schedules or hotel overbookings or other causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger.

    A deposit of CAD $1,000 per person is required at time of reservation, together with single supplement, if applicable, as well as package tour insurance costs (optional). The Balance is due March 10, 2024. Cheques should be made payable to Uniglobe The Premiere Travel Group. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Diners/Enroute credit cards are accepted.

    CANCELLATION

    Full refund up to 180 days prior to departure less $500 per person. Between 180 and 90 days prior, full refund less $1,000 per person. Between 90 and 60 days prior, full refund less $2,000 per person. Less than 60 days prior, total cost of tour is non-refundable. After departure, no refund will be made for any unused hotel accommodation, meals, transfers, sightseeing, etc. Notice of cancellation must be made in writing. Executive Cultural Tours.
